Credit Transfer Policy

A qualified student may transfer a minimum 40% (or 48 credits) and a maximum of 75% (or 90 credits) out of the 120 credits required for the Bachelor’s degree completion program. An applicant with less than the minimum number of credits may make up the deficiency by registering some RPUT qualifying courses as a non-degree student.

Credits earned from any institution and/or program that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and United States Commission on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) may be accepted to fulfil general education and electives requirements.

Credits earned from institutions or programs that are not accredited as described above will be considered on their individual merits: our admissions committee evaluates such credits and their issuing institutions and determine whether they meet the study goals and course objectives of similar ones offered at RPUT.

Official transcript of courses done in the past seven years must show a GPA of 2.0 or higher. An applicant with a GPA less than a 2.0 may be required to take a first course and make a GPA of 2.0 or higher to be admitted into the program.

Students with official transcript of courses done more than seven years ago may be considered if they have been in active Church or Christian ministry, or related community work or missions since they left off. Such applicants may be required to take a first course at RPUT and make a GPA of 2.0 or higher before being admitted into the program.
