Resurrection Power University of Theology and Technology is a non-profit Christian religious institution of higher education, incorporated in the State of South Carolina, with all the rights, powers, privileges and immunities, and subject to all the limitations and liabilities, conferred by Chapter 31, Title 33, of South Carolina Code of Laws and Acts amendatory thereto.
South Carolina Commission on Higher Education (CHE)
RPUTT is exempt from the oversight of the South Carolina Higher Education Commission, and is legally authorized to award diplomas, certificates, and degrees “with specific theological, biblical, divinity, or other religious designations”, that prepare graduates for service in ministry, and award degree.
Institutional Membership: ACCESS
Resurrection Power University of Theology and Technology is an institutional member of the Association of Christian Distance Education (ACCESS). The mission of ACCESS is to provide leadership in the field of Christian distance education through resources, online community development, and promotion of various forms of distance education.
Resurrection Power University of Theology and Technology (RPUTT) is currently a Corresponding Institution with Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS). A corresponding institution with TRACS is one which has made initial contact with the accreditation agency and is actively pursuing the process toward accreditation. TRACS is recognized as a national institutional accrediting agency by the U. S. Department of Education (USDE) and is a member of the U. S. Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Although Resurrection Power University of Theology and Technology is vigorously pursuing accreditation, it is not yet accredited by any accreditation agency that is recognized by the USDE or CHEA.
